Over the years, we have all carried some bad habits as marketers. Some may be come from following old age marketing techniques and some may be come from our environment. If we continue sly follow these bad habits in our digital marketing routine, there is less chance to keep us up to date and strong in online marketing.

According to recent CMO survey - CMOs rate their staff’s as per their marketing knowledge as average.  Although the marketing spends and businesses are increasing, but the level of online marketing knowledge is not following the suit.

Avoid these marketing rut by starting a digital marketing in your marketing strategy to build strength and endurance over time. To give you a kick Start, in this 5-minute article I am going to provide you 5 digital marketing brain training exercises that will help you to become a unicorn in marketing.

#1 – Develop a passion for learning:
Never stop learning. If you learn one new thing every day, you will overcome 99% over your competition. (Joe Carlozo)

To start, it’s very important to make some time to learn new thing on daily basis that allows you to grab new information about the online market. You can learn from anywhere, within and outside of your company to improve your marketing knowledge.

Take some time to make your learning calendar and make it a point to read content from another successful digital marketer on a daily basis. There is penalty of blogs that share content on online marketing, so make a habit of reading and set a goal of reading at least 1 or 2 articles from other marketers each day.

There are various techniques in digital marketing that can help you to take your business next level. You just start by making a list of all digital marketing tactics that you want to implement in your marketing plan and then research your competitor’s best practices form top 3 in your list.

#3 – Get Certified

It’s important to master in any field and level up your training to become a certified.  To be certified in a variety of area give you a positive attitude and different marketing knowledge. If you don’t want to any institute or college to get certification you can consider some of the online certification programs (free/paid) listed below:

#4 – Set Your Goals:

To achieve something in your life you must set your goals and milestones. Large or small set your digital marketing training goals. How you will start it? What do you want to learn? How you execute it in your marketing strategy? Determining what your goals are you can easily get that you want to achieve. 

#5 – Be Patient & keep going:

When you feel, you are not getting results, don’t get discouraged. There are only two things that can help you patient and time.  Learning new things take time and dedication. In starting you will feel hard but as time passed you increased your knowledge and application. Keep going to learn new things and never lose your learning routine and you’ll begin to see the impact of digital marketing make you a perfect online marketer.
