Matt joined Optimizely as the first non-technical hire in June of 2011. After building out the initial sales team in the United States, Matt is now in charge of Optimizely's business in Europe. Before Optimizely Matt ran his own mattress recycling company where he partnered with the local jail to employ inmates, local garbage hauling companies to fulfil the pick-ups and learned first hand what companies go through when trying to convert traffic on their websites. Prior to running his own business, Matt brokered websites, traffic portfolios and domain names.
