What To Say On Social Media

Marketers need to know their audience's behavior and have a strategy laid out for social media reach out.

Most of the times people do not have the slightest idea how and what to say on Social Media. I’ve prepared a short list outlining the things you should be communicating and what they will do for you.

For example you can discuss what inspires you, share inspirational images and quotes. You can also share how you overcame an objection or how a lead strategy is working let’s say.

Social media is supposed to be fun! Sharing something funny can make your team smile and make your fans realize you share the same interests and have the same characteristics when it comes to funny content. A real life cartoon or a picture is a good way to achieve this.

However, you should be really careful what, when and how often you share it on social media. There should be a well balanced strategy for that. If the case is you don’t have one, you could use the one I have prepared right down below:

Half of your content should most definitely entertain and invite conversation:

  1. Interesting photos and videos
  2. Questions
  3. Share a success story
  4. Say something funny
  5. Fill in the blank posts

Thirty percent of your content let’s say should be useful and informative:

  1. Industry stats
  2. Hints and tips
  3. Helpful blog posts

And around twenty percent of it should be focused on the promotion of your business:

  1. Product updates
  2. Customer stories
  3. Offers and promotions
