Finally A Social Selling POWER APP

This is the first of many listening tools that will transform the market place by making social listening actionable on the mobile phone.

WOW, when was the last time you said that about an app on your phone?  


It has been awhile for me too. I have found the app that takes social listening to the next level. This is the first of many listening tools that I hope will transform the market place by making social listening actionable on the mobile phone.


Social Listening

One key aspect to being on social and using it for selling is listening for keywords that indicate what people and companies are discussing.  This means through proactively listening people find leads or interests based on what other people are talking about.  I have a post about how to use  twitter lists with a set of free tools to proactively listen on twitter. The downside to this is approach is it requires sitting at a desktop computer and check it often.

What I found was an even better way. I say better because this is mobile it is notifying me on the run on my most common computer( my mobile phone).Sales Prodigy is nice app that notifies you on your phone based on topics that you chose.

 

How It Works?

 

The app itself is available on both Iphone and Android phones.  It is simple to install and implement. The IOS product page is below and after installing just create a user and connect your twitter and Instagram account.



After the initial set up then go to topics and add a list topic that are of interest to listen and react on from your social networks.


Topics can verify depending on what you want to achieve.  I am testing the app so I have tried to use some topics that I thought would yield tweets and notifications. Here are mine for now:



The app gives an overview of the posts that have topics you have chosen and it is possible to be proactive from within the app as well as get an overview over the account tweeting.

From this screen I can interact by favoriting, retweeting, replying and I can click on the arrow to look closer at the twitter account.

Conclusion


Sales Prodigy is a pretty slick app, very easy to use and set up.  It also makes listening easy to do and interacting a natural part of the app experience.  I can recommend that anyone into social selling or social listening to use this app. At the current moment this is my go to app and I would almost go as far as to say that I can’t do without it.
