Michael Nutley, Director, Digital Doughnut 

Michael Nutley is a freelance writer and consultant specialising in interactive media and marketing. He was formerly Editor In Chief of New Media Age, the UK’s leading news publication for interactive business. Since then he has continued to write about the sector for Marketing Week, Admonsters and CMO.com, while also acting as head of content and communities for Digital Doughnut. In addition he is a visiting lecturer in Futures & Innovations at the London College of Communications.
 

He has spoken or moderated sessions at AdTech London and CIM Eastern Region Digital Day, and at events for Marketing Week, IAB Europe, the EIAA, Wired Sussex, Manchester Digital and Norfolk Network, among others. He has appeared on Sky News, Channel 4 News, CNBC, the BBC World Service and Radio 5 Live. And he has judged the Big Chip awards, the Mobile Marketing Awards, the Sports Business Awards, the BIMA Awards, the South West Media and Innovation Awards and the Wired Sussex Digital Marketing Awards.

 

Earlier this year he was one of the 50 people shortlisted for BIMA’s Digital Hall of Fame.

Nicole Yershon, Innovative Solutions, Ogilvy Group Advertising 

Nicole has worked in the creative industries for 25 years.

She joined Ogilvy in 2000 with a brief from the chairman to “bring the agency into the 21st Century”. In doing so, Nicole has overhauled the agency’s broadcast and video editing facility, making Ogilvy London the lead agency in the Group for the management and broadcast of digital assets; she has passionately driven new media into the heart of the organisation, and in 2008, she was tasked with heading up Ogilvy London’s Innovation Lab, further pushing the agency’s innovation activities to fuel unprecedented creative campaigns.

Ross Sleight, Chief Strategy Officer, Somo
Respected throughout the digital industry for the breadth of his experience, his foresight and vision, and the sheer quality of his strategic thinking, Ross is without doubt the Professor of Mobile.
 

He has over 20 years’ experience in marketing and digital media and, as Somo’s CSO, advises global brands on how to harness the potential of mobile technologies.
 

He was one of the founders of Virgin Games and has been called upon to advise 10 Downing Street and the Department for Culture, Media and Sport on interactive media development. He has created award-winning digital strategies for clients including Audi, Reuters, Sony, British Airways, Shop Direct and The Independent. Ross has been a founding member of six digital businesses throughout the last 18 years.
 

Ross is an expert in consumer behaviour, mobile usage and changes in the market. He has been a judge in all the major creative and effectiveness awards in digital marketing and a frequent keynote speaker at global industry conferences and events.
