Matthew Beaman is the Photography Director at Forward Worldwide, where he commissions, photography and film for a range of editorial and commercial publications. Most notably Patek Philippe magazine, which has been in print since 1996, each issue full of stories exploring Art, Design, Culture, travel and Architecture. Matthew works with photographers and filmmakers around the world, who specialise in portraiture, still life, architecture & interiors and fashion. Prior to his current position, Matthew was Deputy Photography Editor of Wallpaper* magazine. Since he joining Wallpaper* in 2007 Matthew worked with photographers to shape the look and feel of the magazine by commissioning work to illustrate a wide range of subjects from architecture, portraiture and interiors through to fashion and travel. Matthew enjoys collaborating with emerging photographers, providing a platform and starting point to their career by commissioning them for the various magazines and clients he works with. He is particularly interested in still life, architectural and portraiture, and is always on the lookout for fresh and innovative approaches to those genres.
