Gal co-founded Mine when he recognised the difficulties in implementing the rights imposed by GDPR. His view was that, while GDPR (and similar regulations) have all the right intentions, before Mine there was no easy way to track all the places that were holding your data, let alone ask for it back. That’s why he founded Mine, which makes data reclaim an accessible and user friendly process. Gal and his team set out to help consumers take full control of their digital footprint and they are succeeding in their mission; so far they have enabled over 300,000 users to make data reclaim requests from thousands of companies, and in doing so enforce their right to be forgotten.
