Dean joined Momentum Worldwide in May 2015 as Director of Creative Strategy and Planning and is responsible for leveraging customer business intelligence to improve consumer engagement, sponsorships and partnerships.
Dean oversees Momentum Worldwide’s team of planners and digital strategists across the London and Manchester offices and is responsible for working with the agency’s global and UK clients such as American Express, Coca-Cola, Asda and Microsoft. In addition to this, he manages the agency’s proprietary research programme and strategic development tools.
Dean has been in marketing for over 17 years and has worked both agency and client side. Before joining Momentum Worldwide Dean was Head of Customer Marketing and Retention for Virgin Active. Dean was with the Virgin Group for a total of nine years and worked across most sectors within the group including Virgin Holidays, Virgin Media, Virgin Money and even Virgin Galactic.
Prior to this, Dean was Global Marketing Manager for Sony Ericsson where he managed the Sony mobile placements globally for Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace and was UK Sponsorship Manager at Nokia.
Dean’s proudest career moment was convincing Richard Branson to drive take an ice cream van round the country for a Virgin Group promotion.
In his spare time, Dean enjoys spending time with his 2 children and is a keen surfer, triathlete and painter.
