Brian is a Successful Sales and Marketing Leader with over 25 years experience in IT, primarily in Enterprise Software. For 15 of those years, Brian has promoted Open Source Software into businesses across EMEA. Prior to Magento, Brian was Vice President of Northern Europe, Middle East & Africa at the Drupal experts Acquia. Before Acquia, he was Sales Director for Oracle’s Cloud Infrastructure software business. Other roles have included UK Managing Director at SUSE, which he helped to establish as a fast-growing independent Open Source Linux company, after its acquisition by the Attachmate Group. During his career Brian has also been a Nuclear Scientist, worked in customer support, product management, pre-sales, marketing and now sales.
