Some people would say my profession is about numbers. I disagree. It’s about people. My work affects people’s lives in a profound way. Everyone has things they want to do, post-career. I never forget this. A well-structured company-sponsored 401k, 403b, Profit Sharing Plan, ESOP can turn these dreams into realities. From my view, this is incentive - with a capital “I” - to have a meaningful, measurable impact for employees with their company plans. My overarching goals, day in and day out, are to provide strategic advice, and implement best practices, that drive performance for businesses and individuals. I excel at helping organizational leaders, and their managers, to understand complex retirement plan fiduciary responsibilities. They can’t be expected to stay current with the ever-changing minutiae of retirement plan laws and regulations – that’s my job. I focus on reducing their fiduciary responsibility and administrative workload. Still, it comes back to people. I help plan participants define their risk tolerances, and stress-test their portfolios, to stay on track toward their retirement goals. If it’s not working for them, it’s not working … period. My relationships are guided by clear communication, ongoing education, quick response time, and attention to details. Staying current on never-ending technological leaps, and legislative updates, is challenging. I do, though, because my clients have other things on their minds … such as running businesses. I’ve built investment management and retirement plan practices, starting from point zero. Making them scalable and profitable takes time. But it works if you stay centered on the human element, the people you can help take those retirement trips, or move to a long-dreamt-of locale ... or just live without worrying about their finances. Wondering if your 401k, 403b, Profit Sharing retirement plan really takes care of those you care about? Let’s talk. Contact me at (414) 704-2875, or glen@pa401k.com.
