It is a known fact that physicians and healthcare workers are some of the busiest people on earth, so getting your emails through their everyday clutter is a no-easy task. You need a foolproof strategy to succeed in converting your target physicians into leads.

1. Segmenting your Target Physicians is a Wise Move

Sending an email blast to all the folks on your target list was a good idea maybe a decade ago, but not anymore. 4. Do not Overwrite your Emails

Like I mentioned above, doctors and physicians are some of the busiest individuals, as a result, they do not like to waste their time on reading lengthy sales pitches, therefore keep your email short and to the point.

Most marketers misunderstand that using a lot of information at once will help but, in reality, it’s the other way around. I urge you not to make your email too wordy, just like the saying goes ‘less is more’.

5. Include Call to Action Buttons

Since you cannot fill in all the information in your email at once, you can very well use call-to-action buttons upon clicking which takes your target audience to your landing page directly. There, you have all the relevant information, or ask them to subscribe to your newsletter, or showcase your blog content, these are just a few ideas that might help, you can choose what suits best to you.

6. Choose the Perfect Frequency

There is a very thin line between being consistent and being constant while being consistent will fetch you good results meanwhile being constant will get your domain blocked after your emails are flagged as spam. Therefore, choosing the right frequency of when to send emails is very crucial, try not to send emails too often.

7. Optimize your Emails to Suit Small Screens

In the era dominated by smartphones people are shifting their attention towards small screens for their everyday tasks, it is not uncommon that most of us prefer reading emails on our smartphones, gone are those days when to read a message you had to turn on your computer or laptop.

Emails look different on desktop sites and mobile sites, hence choose a dynamic template or email design layout that suits both large and small screens. 

8. Do A/B Testing Before Rolling out Emails

With the help of A/B testing, you can easily determine which subset of emails are fetching you better results, this process will help you gain more open and click-through rates, increase conversion rates and revenue generation, as well as get a clearer picture of your target audience’s expectations.

The key to gain greater results in an email marketing campaign is working consistently and efficiently, with the help of an automation platform you can successfully achieve these two and flawlessly execute your strategy.
