Sir Martin Sorrell and Sir John Hegarty headline Connect: London 2018.

WPP founder Sir Martin Sorrell and Bartle Bogle Hegarty founder Sir John Hegarty will appear in keynote sessions at Creativepool’s second annual trade event in London next month.

There will also be a chance for disruptive providers to showcase their distinctive products and services across exhibition spaces at the iconic Boiler House at The Old Truman Brewery.

Sorrell will headline a keynote on day one in a Q&A entitled Better, Faster, More Efficient where he will discuss his plans on shifting the industry structure and the future of advertising.

Day two will see Hegarty appear in a fireside chat entitled Liberating the Creative Voice. The session will see the ad icon joined by Neil Waller, co-founder and CEO of marketing agency Whalar, to discuss the democratisation of creativity due to recent technological advancement.

Other Connect: London highlights include sessions on mixed reality, artificial intelligence, brand IP, blockchain, neuro-creativity and much more with agencies such as Cheil Group, Ogilvy One, McCann, Mr President, Y&R and ZAK confirmed.

Brands appearing in 2018 include adidas, New Balance, Ford, The Co-Op, Superdrug and John Lewis with Facebook and Vice among the media companies also appearing.

Building on the success of Creativepool’s one-day festival last year, this year’s event welcomes more speakers, sessions and attendees across a larger space at the Boiler House.

Connect: London takes place on 21-22 November 2018. The two days will culminate with the iconic Pool Party wrap event, which is now in its fourth year.
