How To Minimize Digital Disruption

When hiring a cleaning service, we still have to pick up and organize our personal belongings beforehand, right? The same is true for the preparation of AI, IoT, and BI. We’ve all heard of the crawl, walk and run analogy. This is an equally effective approach when beginning to incorporate automated technologies. 

  • First, what is your digital transformation destination? You know what your KPI's are so how is your digital strategy going to get you there? If you haven't already taken the necessary steps to, "clean house", then technology isn't going to miraculously solve all of your problems.   • Second, if you haven’t incorporated AI, IoT or BI into your digital strategy, then isn’t it time to do so now? A new digital paradigm can be challenging to navigate, but it is imperative to maintain a competitive advantage. Completely reinventing your brand may be a bit overwhelming, but incrementally augmenting processes, organizational models and incorporating change to increase operating efficiencies may be more palatable. Is this too futuristic? HubSpot surprisingly reveals otherwise in “AI in Marketing: 10 Early Use Cases.”
  • Finally, technology, at its root, saves time. It is no longer about humans vs. machines; it is about getting to spend more time doing what we love. Business paradigms, regardless of industry, must incorporate a digital strategy. In 2018 that digital strategy must take into consideration the most effective emergent business model that includes AI, BI, and IoT.
