My Top Apps to Increase Work Place Productivity

Let’s face it, these days everyone seems as though they want to do more in less time especially working professionals like me. Luckily technology in the form of apps, can be used to stay more productive.

My workload has increased significantly in the last few years, so it’s all hands to the pump. This can sometimes leave me with time balance issues which can unfortunately make my working day a little stressful.

I needed to be more productive with my time, making my daily workload easier to manage. A colleague of mine suggested using free apps to help manage my time better, keep me on track and help achieve more. After doing a little research online and trying out a few free apps, here are my top three.

  • Ink Flow – this is an ideal app for a personal artist or visual thinker. The app allows me to capture my ideas normally as I would do with a pen then rearrange them to my liking. It’s also a great way to “doodle” ideas when you don’t have a pen or paper handy. What’s more, doodling helps to make me more focused. Ink Flow is available for all Apple drivces.

  • ANY.do – with such a busy working lifestyle ANY.do is great for helping with my daily schedule. One of the main reasons I use this app is because it helps me clear my head of the things I don’t need to remember. It lets me put the tasks, reminders and things that I do need to do, all in one location. ANY.do is handy for list making and managing tasks, something I must admit I am not very good at. Ever since I got this app I began to get in the habit of checking what I need to do daily, cutting out what I really don’t need to do. This has helped me take on more clients, increasing my workload. ANY.do is available for your Android, iPhone, Chrome and Web.

  • Mailbox – this is just a mail box redesigned in a simple format to save more time. It’s light, fast, on the go as well as mobile-friendly. It works like a messaging system where you swipe your emails to archive them and trash when necessary. Mailbox has certainly helped to simplify my working day which at times can be quite hectic. I have incorporated Mailbox into my working day schedule which in turn has helped to increase the amount of business coming my way. If you have an Apple device, this should already be installed, just make sure to take full advantage of it.
