It’s all about your customers what they want to see, what they want from you as a brand and what kind of engagement they would like to receive. This doesn’t imply that these people will just allow picking for them, brand’s values must be directed towards its audience persona.

There are three types of audiences –

  • Primary
  • Secondary
  • Tertiary

The primary audience is customers (existing or prospective), whereas secondary or tertiary audience is employees or other brands. The aim of creating a brand identity is to cover each kind of audience. You cannot neglect any of them, employees are your brand advocates as they have the power to represent your brand everywhere. It is so natural that wherever they go, they can talk about your brand and also put their offline marketing efforts. Their efforts can mirror inner face of your brand so, must read your audience closely. Take their views and gauge it.

Now, you are almost half prepared with brand identity and the only work which left is to put up all the implementations.

Now translate this information into final visual implementation. Hire UI/UX designers to create your cogent visual identity. There are three things to consider here –

Brand name – you can hire an agency for and put your ideas in front of them, they can suggest you a list of names with punch lines. You can also do it yourself with the help of your team members.

Logo drafts – Logo is a design and visual face of the company. It will be used in products delivered by you such as emails, business cards etc.
