Throwing off the same content to everyone is not a good practice as there lays a difference in the views and choices of an audience. So the content delivery should be specifically targeted and based upon the user’s interest.

Get feedback

You should always try to get the feedback regarding the content from your customers so as to improve the services and filter out the contents. The content that is irrelevant and rated as poor by the customers should be removed. As ultimately it’s the customers who are going to use your mobile application so the content should be of their interest.

Instead of using the traditional method of the surveys and forms try to move on to the in app feedback which stands out to be more efficient and reusable.

Social media integration

Social media is one of the biggest influencing factors in recent time so make sure that people know about your mobile app and try it you need to spread your contents to the platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter etc. Let these social media platforms speak out about your application. You can try to get the attention of the influencers to engage the people in your app content.

You can have the trailers as a part of your content on social media to give the users a glimpse of your product. This will create enthusiasm and awareness among the users and other potential customers.

You can also try rewarding points to the app users for small activities to keep them engaged with the mobile app.

Story telling

Try to adapt the technique of showing things to the users by the means of images, videos and other graphical content as people remember more when they see rather than reading long content. Try to use visually effective images and other content to create a long lasting effect.

User stories

Let your customers speak for you and to do that you must share your user stories with the people. Often you can catch audience’s attention when they hear about your product from people who are already using it. Try to publish your user stories to pitch in your services and product.

There lies different ways of presenting your user stories to the audience like in form of text based case studies, videos or a mixture of both.

Have takeaways

Try to give more to the customers apart from your content. You should provide them with the extra takeaways in the form of e-book, video, app etc for free so that they are attracted toward your services. This all will help you to get the content statistics of various users.

Have current trends in your content

People like to follow trends and be updated with them so as to know about something new every day, so it will be attractive to them if they get insights like these through your content of mobile application. This will make your content more engaging for the users.

Have contest designed

Try to build up a challenge or contest or something like that to keep the users engaged in playing and winning. Have various components included in it so that people compete in a friendly manner and remain engaged connecting them to various people around and build a small network which will indirectly help in your mobile app promotion.

These were some of the ways to create engaging content for your mobile app to increase the customer base of your products and services. But you can always have new tactics defined specific to your business or service. Once you have an excellent well-designed strategy for your content try to improvise it. Keep a check on the updating and revising of the content so as to maintain the freshness of the content.

Always try to maintain the quality of your content because ultimately your content quality will bring you focus and customer. The content should be unique, innovative, creative and well designed. Your customers and other users who are watching it should find it worth sharing.

Try to have a market survey and analytics before going for a strategy for your mobile application content as trends change every day and hence it is necessary to have a brief idea about everything and go on with the changing flow and trends. Even if you are a startup and cannot invest much in the fancy tools and showcasing visual effects and video graphics don’t worry just make your content rich and creative enough in terms of quality to have a competing edge over others and update your content on a regular basis.
