As a digital professional, you know all too well how important it is to work efficiently and to stay on top of your exhausting work-load. As a digital professional, you know all too well how important it is to work efficiently and to stay on top of your exhausting work-load. Luckily, there’s no shortage of incredibly useful tools to help you manage your time, finances and other administrative business tasks that can build up and distract from getting your actual work done.

Here’s a list of some of my favorite tools to help you work smarter and more efficiently.

Time Management

Trello

Arguably one of the best project management tool available, Trello allows you to create easy to use task boards which you can share with a team or manage entirely yourself.

Remember the Milk

Another to-do list which also allows you to access and edit everything across all of your devices so you can stay on top of everything when on the go.

Toggl

This website allows you to track how much time it takes you to accomplish your tasks so you can find areas to become more efficient.

Finance

InvoiceHome

Invoice Home provides incredibly simple and intuitive invoicing solution for anyone without the needs of the more complicated (and expensive) finance tools. Simply choose an invoice template, send to your client and get paid.

Mint

Mint is another great personal finance tool which allows you to sync and manage all of your finances from multiple devices.

Productivity

Rescue Time

If you find yourself to be spending too much time on personal social media profiles or other time-wasting websites, this tool will help you track just how much time you are wasting so you can get back to work.

Cold Turkey

If Rescue Time has shown you that you aren’t being as efficient as you could be, you can take it one step further and block any websites you feel you’re spending too much time on with Cold Turkey.

Extensions

Clipular

Clipular is a simple, easy to use screenshot extension which resides in your browser tool bar. Simply click the icon and drag your cursor to quickly take a screenshot of any web page. The tool stores your screenshots and gives you a handy URL so you can share quickly without hassle.

Linkclump

Sometimes there are times when you need to quickly copy a handful of links at once. Linkclump will help you do that with a simple click and drag of your mouse.

Boomerang

Boomerang is a handy extension which greatly increases your email productivity. Easy email scheduling.

Yesware

Ever wondered if someone was actually receiving or reading your emails? Yesware will tell you!

Grammarly

Grammarly is an extension which will highlight any errors you may have made your writing.

Writing

Buzzsumo

Buzzsumo is a great resource for inspiration. If you’re having a hard time coming up with topics to write about, this tool will help you find articles on a given subject which have been well-shared on social media.

Hemingway

Hemingway is a simple website which allows you to copy and paste your work to check for areas where you can improve your grammar and punctuation.

Anna Knyazan

Awesome list. Quite a few of these tools I’ve never heard of. Will be looking into a couple of them. I am big fan of proofy.io (https://goo.gl/eXS2pn) - email validation tools. It's cheap but very accurate.
