While I was listening to an audio yesterday, I heard the speaker say a very powerful quote.  “You need to Build your Plane while your Learning to Fly it.”

He was telling a story of how people would ask him, “What does it feel like to start your own company?” He would often answer: “It feels like you’re jumping off a cliff and building an airplane on the on the way down.”

While listening I got these main points that I wanted to share with you:

  • Take Action – No matter what goal you have set, the most important thing is Action. Without your first step you are never going anywhere. Some many of us want to finish building our “Airplane” or our vehicle to reach or goal.  Yet, we may not even be sure what we really want.  If your goal is financial, physical, spiritual, first take action.  Figure out the rest along your journey.
  • Plug Yourself into a System -   Whatever your goal is, find others who have reach your desired goal using a proven system.  This system is your vehicle.  You don’t need to build a whole new plane while falling.  Whatever your goal is, someone in the world has probably journeyed that path before you.  So, learn from those who have already succeeded.
  • Learn From Your Mistakes – Just like in the image above, I was like a man jumping off a cliff with no plane when I started this business.  Yet, the first day, I took action and wrote my first blog. Along the way I made mistakes, and was able to improve my “Airplane”.  I listened to training’s while taking action.  I learn that everyone that succeeded in where I wanted to reach started the same place I did, at the bottom.  The biggest mistake I made was trying to learn everything before taking more Action.  I was leaning from from my products, yet without taking action.  I was now like the falling man in the picture above.

Imagine that your destination is on the other side of the world.  You have your plane to assemble, and audio manuals to teach you to fly it.  Yet, you are waiting for perfect weather for the entire trip before you begin to build or learn to fly it.  Are you ever going to reach your destination? NO!

First, this perfect weather, or no time of conflict, will never come.  That’s Life. There are no perfect circumstances, just the ones we are blessed with at the time. So, that is why you must take action.  While building your plane, you now have time to listen to your audios.  It may take time, yet with consistent action, and with help from others, you can build your plane and learn to fly it.  YOU CAN REACH YOUR DREAM!!!
