Why Enterprise Mobile Apps Are Lucrative For Your Business?

Enterprise IT is approximately 8% of the global developer community with Explorers and Hunters (23%) being the two largest developer segments overall.

Technological inventions are ongoing and have not taken a tiny halt since the ‘World Wide Web’ revolution began in 90s. People went crazy just to build their own websites and in no time, the domain purchasing/buying/selling/bidding started. Business owners wanted unique and catchy website URL; some would buy it for millions too.

I don’t say that website has lost its importance but I am saying that mobile applications have surpassed the needs and wishes of websites. Also, even if you want to establish a website now, all you can do is name it on your own nick name or business name since the catchy-funky-famous keywords are already booked and others which are not, are either purchased or priced very high.

Mobile applications have spread to almost all the sectors: Business, Catalogues, Finance, Food & Beverages, Entertainment, Health, Finances, Ecommerce, Sports, Navigation, LifeStyle, Enterprise, Ecommerce, Social Network, Productivity, Utilities, Travel, and many more. But, in this article, we will talk about how Enterprise Mobile Application Development is crucial for your business in 2016.

Before going into the topic, let us first understand its meaning since I have seen many mobile app development companies promising to deliver the same but doesn’t actually know what it implies. Enterprise mobile application refers to a mobile application that is used in the business world to solve the problems of an enterprise.

With enterprise mobile applications, all employees can have simplified access to the same applications as everyone else in the company, enabling uniformity between devices. This has the added advantage of increasing efficiency in the workplace and cutting down costs spent on company devices.

There are varieties of enterprise mobile applications that are used in a corporate setting. Ex: Content management, automated billing systems, payment processing, email marketing systems, customer support, systems for collaboration and messaging, CRM (customer relationship management), EAI (Enterprise Application Integration), business intelligence, etc.

Enterprise IT is approximately 8% of the global developer community with Explorers and Hunters (23%) being the two largest developer segments overall.

As per Gartner, “By the end of 2017, market demand for mobile app development services will grow at least five times faster than internal IT organizations’ capacity to deliver them. Mobile phone sales will reach 2.1 billion units by 2019, which will fuel demand for apps in the enterprise that meet the high performance and usability of consumer apps.”

Today, these are best practices that organizations consider to overcome app development challenges: Adopt a bimodal IT approach, prioritize app development, use rapid mobile app development (RMAD) tools and adopt a mixed-sourcing approach.

So, as per the data and analytics, it is crystal clear that enterprise mobile applications are productive and lucrative altogether. As per the foreseeable tech scenario, it is envisioned that the app development will go par the imagination. What are you waiting for? If you haven’t developed your mobile app, now is the time to create it instantly.
