Who Are You?
I’m Ben Wright. I’m a co-founder and COO of Design Studio. We’re a branding agency based in London and San Francisco.

What Inspires You And Where Do You Look For Inspiration?
What inspires me? I guess I’m inspired by authenticity and truth. As a branding agency, we look for real brand stories and we look to bring them alive.

What Do You Do When You Have An Idea And How Do You Go About Turning It Into Reality?
Ideas can generally come from anywhere and all members of the team are encouraged to bring the ideas to the table. We work together to push them through. It’s a real collaborative team effort and we always work together to make sure the ideas can be brought to real life in the best possible way.

Talk Us Through An Idea Of Yours, From Inspiration to Realisation
I think one of the biggest ideas I’ve ever had in my life is starting the company. Paul and I, the other co-founder, we really inspired to create something different.

We found there was 2 types of agencies, the big, corporate branding agencies and the small, boutique design agencies. We really saw that we can make something different, an agency that was focused on design. As a designer, that’s something that’s very close to my heart, very passionate, and so we created the Design Studio and we just started it. It was very, very simple. We made it happen. We quit our jobs and just went for it.

What Are You Going To Talk About At Inspiration?
At Inspiration 2015, I will talk about how brands can inspire the communities that have created them to create real world change and make the world a better place.
