11 Women In Marketing You Need To Follow

Make sure you give these women in marketing love by following them on Twitter or checking out their work.

I’m sure you’ve heard the metric that women account for 85% of all consumer purchases; this is thrown around many marketing sites. It’s true that women are moving up in the world—further than ever before.

It’s enlightening to see so much estrogen-filled success in a world that has been discriminatory in the past. While things aren’t perfect or "equal" yet, this is a great way to show how far we’ve come as a society.

Now don’t take this as man-bashing--consider it an homage, much like you would give tomatoes on an episode of Good Eats, or something similar... (man I really miss that show).

Anyhow, from topping a huge majority in Forbes’s list of the world’s billionaires (no really, look at that, the amount of women is incredible) to revolutionary content marketing, ladies haven proven themselves as a true force to be reckoned with.

That said this list was not easy to make with the countless women who have made strides in marketing from all walks of life. However, I’ve chosen them based on their innovations and progressive thought-leadership in the industry. Make sure you give these women in marketing love by following them on Twitter or checking out their work.
