is Chief Executive of the Mayor’s Fund for London, whose charitable mission is to give disadvantaged young Londoners the skills and opportunities to get a decent job and escape the threat of poverty.
Previous positions include Chief Executive, M&C Saatchi Sponsorship; Deputy Chairman, SP Holdings PLC; and Director of Communications for Clubs for Young People, working with over 400,000 disadvantaged young people.
Matthew is a Trustee of St John Ambulance and London Funders. He was also a Trustee of The Sunday Times Oxford Literary Festival and Non-Executive Director of the Lord Mayor of London’s Appeal in 2008/9. He is also a District Councillor for Tendring District Council in Essex.
