Micheal Nutley catches up with Matthew Patten, CEO of the Mayors Fund for London on the lead up to Inspiration, Digital Doughnut’s flagship event on the 31st of October at the Royal Geographic Society. 

 

 

Matthew Patten is Chief Executive of the Mayor’s Fund for London, whose charitable mission is to give disadvantaged young Londoners the skills and opportunities to get a decent job and escape the threat of poverty. 

 

Previous positions include Chief Executive, M&C Saatchi Sponsorship; Deputy Chairman, SP Holdings PLC; and Director of Communications for Clubs for Young People, working with over 400,000 disadvantaged young people. 

Matthew is a Trustee of St John Ambulance and London Funders. He was also a Trustee of The Sunday Times Oxford Literary Festival and Non-Executive Director of the Lord Mayor of London’s Appeal in 2008/9. He is also a District Councillor for Tendring District Council in Essex.
