WestJet Christmas Miracle: real-time giving Christmas viral

Canadian airline WestJet pulled off a Christmas stunt that involved gifting passengers what they desired for Christmas. Preflight passengers had the opportunity to talk to Santa (sat in a studio) via a video screen and told him what they really wanted for Christmas. WestJet had teams of people on hand to run out and buy the gifts whilst the passengers were in transit. On arrival at their destination the luggage carousel was turned into a winter wonderland where it snowed inside of the terminal and gifts came out one by one for the passengers on the carousel. I’m sure the man who said he needed socks and pants was sickened to see a family get a 50" plasma TV vs him opening his pack of slims.

At the time of posting, this video has received 31,124,394 now for the cost of a few gifts that’s a very cheap way to buy attention, brilliant marketing!
