Digital Leaders Industry Focus Roundtable: Financial Services
In the wake of the PPI, interest swaps and LIBOR-fixing scandals, the financial services industry has undergone change and will be even more tightly regulated going forward. While necessary, this control has made it more difficult for the sector to embrace - and experiment with – digital in the same way that other industries have been able to. The levels of supervision are particularly challenging when it comes to leveraging social media to engage with consumers and offer another customer service channel, something that is clearly frustrating for the majority of round table participants.
This report in partnership with Adobe, is based on a roundtable hosted by Digital Doughnut which brought together experts from across the financial services sector, and from agencies serving the sector, under Chatham House rules.
