What I love doing at work and do consistently well, is to shape Marketing and Innovation ideas and turn them into business results. I led successful projects in brand building, new products development, digital strategy and new business design. My results are invariably achieved by working in team with driven and innovative people and companies. Together with two likeminded marketeers we are starting up our own marketing consulting firm: Marketing Blu (www.marketingblu.it), a team of advisors who help clients recognize, develop and implement growth opportunities through effective business and marketing plans. My latest company assignment has been CMO and Marketing SVP at the Vitec Group Imaging Division - a global leader in Photographic accessories. My responsibilities included product marketing, communication, social media, trade marketing and e-commerce. Lately, R&D was also added to the role. In Vitec, with the Manfrotto brand, I leveraged my skills and my enthusiasm for Marketing as a the heart and the engine of a company, creating an outstanding team, a host of new products that photographers around the world love, and a strong relationship with passionate and professional customers through social media and ambassadors programs. My Vitec position followed 4 years as Marketing consultant and professor, and 20+ years in P&G and in Barilla - where I achieved results on new products development and innovation, product marketing, brands positioning, new business projects and organizations - in Europe and the US.
