As an accomplished event planner, I have over five years of experience in the planning and execution of a wide range of events for corporate, government and community organisations. I have produced, supervised and been the Master of Ceremonies for a variety of sports and competitor events, concerts, citizenship ceremonies, meetings, training sessions, forums, parties, travelling exhibitions and community engagement and fund-raising events. I specialise in generating creative digital experiences for clients and guests. including pre and post digital media content which integrates existing stakeholder branding and operations. As an extension of this, I am also experienced in providing advice, coaching and support in the implementation of branding, communications and marketing strategies for small to medium businesses. This includes writing media releases, SEO content, social media content, e-newsletters, internal communications, stakeholder and sponsorships briefs and KPI reports. I am particularly adept in encouraging and coaching the techno-phobic and the techno-illiterate to adopt digital solutions for real world problems. In addition to consulting, I am employed on a fixed term contract as the City of Joondalup’s Civic Functions Officer. I am also a casual event supervisor for Western Force and Glory games at nib Stadium. From July 2014 I am taking on a limited number of new clients and will be considering offers of full time employment in August 2014. I’m always open to expanding my knowledge of the industry through continuing education and making new and exciting connections. In my personal life, I am an amateur circus aerialist (trapeze, lyra and tissu) which I will talk about for hours, given the chance. I’m passionate about the brilliant future of Perth, but also love to travel. So far I have been lucky enough to spend time in Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Thailand, France, Poland, Spain, England and The Netherlands.
