Engage the Senses - why mobile & tablet are winning consumer attention
This talk will explore from a psychological and user experience perspective what makes mobile and tablet different as digital media and why they’re becoming so important for brands to engage customers through. It will show and analyse examples of engaging experiences on the iPad identifying some key opportunities this medium offers to win customer attention.
Mo Syed is Head of User Experience at Amplience and also a PhD candidate in Psychology at the University of Cambridge. He has an agency background in UX design for consumer brands, financial services and e-commerce clients and has a research interest the psychological theories of of cognition, decision making and motivation applied to design.
