In 2004, post dot com bubble and after a 6 year apprenticeship in IT convergence, I weaved in my Commercial Music degree and founded boutique e-Commerce company Digital Animal. We built direct-to-fan online marketing and commerce solutions for Sigur Rós, Radiohead, Dame Shirley Bassey and Pink Floyd and consumer loyalty incentives for international brands including Nintendo, Associated News and NatWest/RBS. I won 4 UKTI Creative Industries Awards in 3 consecutive years and in 2008 was shortlisted for the O2 Arena Entrepreneur of The Year award. I became a digital evangelist and champion of multi-platform multichannel marketing. During 2009-11 I held responsibility for the development and European roll out of consumer strategy for PIAS Entertainment Group, working across operations/IT, business affairs, sales and finance. Today, I work as a Creative Technologist combining my entertainment, marketing, tech and business affairs experience to create groundbreaking integrated advertising and broadcast activations."
